Srijita Bishop advises individuals and families on how to protect their wealth, preserve their legacy, and plan confidently for the future through thoughtful estate planning. For her, practicing trust and estate law is more than a career. It is a calling.
Srijita earned her law degree from the prestigious University of Virginia School of Law, consistently ranked among the top law schools in the United States, where she trained in rigorous legal analysis and advanced client advisory work.
Prior to practicing law, she worked in finance with Fortune 500 companies, including Citigroup and Wells Fargo, where she ultimately served as an Executive Director and worked on complex multi-million-dollar transactions.
She established the DasGupta Bishop Scholarship Endowment at Marshall University to fully fund a student’s cost of attendance for four years including room and board, a computer, a stipend for living costs, and a study abroad experience at the University of Oxford in England. It is her way of giving back and paying forward the full-ride merit-based Yeager scholarship she received at Marshall University which included a study abroad experience at the prestigious University of Oxford in England.
Srijita lives in Brentwood, Tennessee and is actively involved in her community. She serves as President of the Brentwood Circle of MomCode. In addition, she volunteers her time to support a wide range of charitable endeavors both at the local level and internationally. In the Brentwood area, she has helped support foster children and food pantries. Her international humanitarian charitable work has helped increase access to clean water, lights, and food in underprivileged areas around the world.
She grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated from Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School.
She is a devoted wife, mother, and stepmother who understands firsthand the importance of protecting what matters most.
Outside of work and family, Srijita is passionate about travel and learning languages. She has visited 44 countries on 6 continents and speaks 5 languages.
